2002

1月

韦伯斯特大学中国区总负责人Richard Foristel博士一行初访电子科技大学寻求合作；3月，两校签定了关于举办国际工商管理硕士项目的合作意向备忘录；5月，时任韦伯斯特大学商学院院长Benjamin Akande博士与Richard Foristel 博士一行再次来访，在时任经济与管理学院院长曾勇教授的大力支持和推动下，两校正式了签署为期五年的《电子科技大学-美国韦伯斯特大学MBA项目合作书》。

In January, Dr. Richard Foristel, Webster University China Director, and his delegation visited UESTC to seek for cooperation. In March, the two universities signed a memorandum of intent for the joint international MBA program. In May, Benjamin Akande, then Dean of Webster University Business School, and Dr. Richard Foristel visited again, and with the support and promotion of Prof. Zeng Yong, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics, the two universities formally signed the five-years agreement of "University of Electronic Science and Technology - Webster University MBA Program Cooperation ".

电子科技大学与美国韦伯斯特大学合作工商管理硕士（iMBA）项目分别获得教育部和国务院学位办正式批准。

In September and December, the UESTC-Webster Joint International MBA (iMBA) Program was officially approved by the Ministry of Education and the Academic Degrees Office of the State Council respectively.

2003

4月

iMBA项目第一届正式开学，首批学员46人。

In April, the first class of the iMBA program officially started with the first batch of 46 students.

2005

5月

时任韦伯斯特大学常务副校长Neil George博士、分管财务副校长David Garafola博士及韦伯斯特大学中国区总负责人Richard Foristel博士一行访问电子科技大学，与时任副校长王厚军教授和时任经济与管理学院院长曾勇教授进行了深入会谈。

In May, Dr. Neil George, then Executive Vice President of Webster University, Dr. David Garafola, Vice President of Finance, and Dr. Richard Foristel, Webster University China Director, visited UESTC and held in-depth talks with Professor Wang Houjun, then Vice President of UESTC, and Professor Zeng Yong, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics.

iMBA校友会正式成立，召开了第一届校友理事会，举办了2003-2005校友联谊大会。

In October, the iMBA Alumni Association was formally established, the first meeting of the Alumni Committee was held, and the 2003-2005 Alumni Event was held at the time.

2006

6月

iMBA项目顺利通过了教育部开展的中外合作办学机构和项目复核抽样评估检查。

In June, the iMBA program successfully passed the sample evaluation of Chinese-foreign joint educational institutions and programs conducted by the Ministry of Education.

9月

电子科技大学隆重举办50周年校庆，韦伯斯特大学中国区总负责人Richard Foristel博士出席校庆活动并致辞；iMBA校友返校庆祝并与时任经济与管理学院院长曾勇教授合影留念。

In September, UESTC celebrated its 50th anniversary. Dr. Richard Foristel, Webster University China Director, attended the school celebration and delivered a speech. iMBA alumni celebrated their homecoming and posed for a photo with Professor Zeng Yong, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics.

2010

1月

韦伯斯特大学圣路易斯校本部Global MBA (GMBA)项目学生一行13人，来电子科技大学参加iMBA项目课程学习与交流。

A group of 13 students from Global MBA (GMBA) program of Webster University (St. Louis) came to UESTC for the iMBA program learning and communication.

2011

8月

时任韦伯斯特大学商学院院长Benjamin Akande博士访问电子科技大学，与时任经济与管理学院院长曾勇教授亲切会面，并参加iMBA校友论坛。Benjamin Akande博士任内曾先后3次到成都参加iMBA毕业典礼并致辞。

In August, Dr. Benjamin Akande, then Dean of Webster University Business School, visited UESTC and met with Professor Zeng Yong, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics, and attended the iMBA Alumni Forum. During his tenure, Dr. Benjamin Akande has been to Chengdu for three times and addressed the iMBA Graduation Ceremony.

时任韦伯斯特大学常务副校长、现任校长Julian Schuster博士和时任韦伯斯特大学商学院院长Benjamin Akande博士共同出席第七届iMBA毕业典礼并致辞。Julian Schuster校长迄今先后四次出席iMBA毕业典礼并致辞。

In December, Dr. Julian Schuster, then Executive Vice President and now President of Webster University, and Dr. Benjamin Akande, then Dean of Webster University Business School, attended the seventh iMBA Graduation Ceremony and delivered a speech. President Julian Schuster has attended and addressed the iMBA Graduation Ceremony for four times.

2012

12月

韦伯斯特大学董事会终身董事、前美国驻匈牙利大使George Herbert Walker出席第九届iMBA毕业典礼并致辞。

In December, George Herbert Walker, Tenured Director of the Board of Trustees of Webster University and former U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, attended and addressed the 9th iMBA Graduation Ceremony.

2013

11月

iMBA隆重举办项目创办十周年庆典活动，中美两校领导与各年级校友及嘉宾欢聚一堂，共同见证项目十年辉煌。

In November, the iMBA program held a grand celebration of the 10th anniversary. Leaders of the two universities gathered together with alumni and guests of all grades to witness the 10-year success of the program.

2014

时任韦伯斯特大学学术协理副校长Grant Chapman博士一行访问经济与管理学院，与时任院长马永开教授进行了深入会谈。

In January, Dr. Grant Chapman, then Associate Vice President of Webster University, and his delegation visited the School of Management and Economics and held in-depth talks with Professor Ma Yongkai, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics.

时任韦伯斯特大学副校长Peter Maher博士访问经济与管理学院，与时任院长马永开教授进行了深入会谈。Peter Maher博士曾3次出席iMBA毕业典礼并致辞。

In April, Dr. Peter Maher, then Vice President of Webster University, visited the School of Management and Economics and had an in-depth meeting with Professor Ma Yongkai, then Dean of the School of Management and Economics. Dr. Peter Maher attended and delivered speeches at the iMBA Graduation Ceremony for three times.

2017

11月

韦伯斯特大学时任校长Elizabeth Stroble博士访问电子科技大学，与时任校长李言荣教授就国际合作与交流等议题进行了深入探讨。两校互赠了纪念品。Elizabeth Stroble校长还出席了iMBA2017年冬季校友论坛并致辞。

5月

经济与管理学院肖延高副院长为韦伯斯特大学Glenn Briggs教授颁发荣誉证书和纪念奖座，表彰Glenn教授在过去十五年中对iMBA项目教学工作的突出贡献。

In May, Xiao Yangao, Vice Dean of the School of Management and Economics, presented Professor Glenn Briggs of Webster University with a Certificate of Honor and a commemorative trophy in recognition of Glenn's outstanding contributions to the teaching of the iMBA program over the past 15 years.

12月

时任韦伯斯特大学副教务长Nancy Hellerud女士一行访问电子科技大学，与时任副校长熊彩东教授等领导亲切座谈，并参观访问经济与管理学院，与肖延高副院长等领导进行了深入交流。

In December, Ms. Nancy Hellerud, then Vice Provost of Webster University, and her entourages visited UESTC and had cordial discussions with Professor Xiong Caidong, then Vice President of UESTC, and other leaders. They visited the School of Management and Economics, and had in-depth exchanges with Vice Dean Xiao Yangao and other leaders.

2019

7月

iMBA校友理事会换届大会顺利召开，经济与管理学院肖延高副院长出席会议。

In July, The General Assembly of iMBA Alumni Council was successfully held. Xiao Yangao, Vice Dean of the School of Management and Economics, attended the general assembly.

2020

iMBA学费调整为15.8万元/全过程

In January, the iMBA tuition was adjusted to RMB 158,000.

2021

4月

“同心聚力iMBA梦·同向前行新征程·同德聚贤创辉煌”iMBA 2021年校友回归日暨春季校友论坛在成都富力丽思卡尔顿酒店成功举办，电子科技大学合作发展部为校友金融与房地产俱乐部、企业家俱乐部授牌授旗。

In April, with the theme of “Concerted Efforts for a New Journey and Splendor”, UESTC-Webster iMBA Alumni Reunion & Spring Forum 2021 was successfully held in the Ritz-Carlton Chengdu. The Cooperation Development Department of UESTC awarded the Finance and Real Estate Club and the Entrepreneurs Club of iMBA Alumni Association with flags and plaques.

“赓续初心· 斩浪前行”iMBA 2021年冬季校友论坛在成都盛美利亚酒店成功举办。电子科技大学校长曾勇教授出席活动并致辞。

In December，themed at “Cutting through the Waves with Original Aspiration”, iMBA Winter Alumni Forum 2021 was successfully held in Gran Melia Chengdu. Professor Zeng Yong, President of UESTC, attended the event and delivered a speech.

2023

1月

iMBA学费调整为28.8万元/全过程。

In January, the iMBA tuition was adjusted to RMB 288,000.

3月

“踔厉奋发·勇毅前行” iMBA 2023年春季校友年会在成都华尔道夫酒店成功举办。电子科技大学孔令讲副校长、经济与管理学院陈旭院长出席年会并致辞。

In March, UESTC-Webster iMBA Spring Alumni Reunion 2023 with the theme of “Forging Ahead with Enterprise and Fortitude” was successfully held at the Waldorf Astoria Chengdu. Kong Lingjiang, Vice President of UESTC, and Chen Xu, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

5月

iMBA项目主任刘波教授在经济与管理学院召开的“深入推进主题教育，扎实开展调查研究”2023年系主任、项目主任工作交流会上，向学院领导汇报iMBA项目工作，提出“全力打造电子科大特色的高端国际工商管理硕士教育品牌”的工作目标。

In May, Professor Liu Bo, Director of iMBA program, reported the work of iMBA program to the School leaders at the 2023 work exchange meeting of department heads and program directors under the theme of "In-depth Thematic Education, Solid Investigation and Research" held by the School of Management and Economics, and proposed the goal of "Building a high-end international MBA education brand with UESTC characteristics".

9月

iMBA主任刘波教授被电子科技大学授予“成电国际合作与国际教育先进个人”称号。

In September, the iMBA Director, Professor Liu Bo was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual for International Cooperation and Education" by UESTC.

12月

以“志合山海不为远 ·廿念不忘情更浓”为主题的iMBA二十周年庆典活动在四川成都香格里拉酒店隆重举行，中美两校领导、嘉宾及校友400余人出席庆典活动。此次活动设立了荣耀颁奖环节，颁发了“杰出贡献奖”及“金银杏奖”（下设“金融发展领英奖”和“商业管理领英奖”）。历届校友献上了精彩纷呈的庆祝演出。

In December, with the theme of "Even mountains and seas can not distance people with common aspirations. Through the passage of two decades, the profound bond remains unyielding", the UESTC-Webster iMBA 20th Anniversary was held at Shangri-La Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. More than 400 people attended the celebration, including leaders from UESTC and Webster, guests and alumni. This event set up an Awards Presentation section, Outstanding Contribution Award and Golden Ginkgo Award (including “Financial Elite Award” and “Business Elite Award”) were presented. Alumni put on many wonderful performances.
